What are fat burners and how do they work?
People who want to reduce quickly are looking for various ways to speed up the entire process. One of them are fat burners. Is it worth reaching for such products? Practice shows that properly selected and, above all, safe products can help us on several levels. Supplements not only stimulate metabolism, but also increase energy levels and reduce appetite. Of course, fat burners should not be used as the only reduction tool. A diet with a negative calorie deficit and physical activity are key. How does a fat burner work and what is worth knowing about these products?
Fat burners - are they worth using?
Fat burners are dietary supplements with a broad spectrum of action. They contain ingredients that accelerate the process of reducing fat tissue. The composition may contain stimulants, thanks to which we are able to exercise longer and more intensively. The preparations can help us achieve specific training and bodybuilding goals. Moreover, it is possible to improve physiological processes and sometimes even improve metabolism. The best fat burner will be tailored to our needs and specific goals. Some people are afraid to use such products due to the potential dangerous impact on health. However, it should be added that if the preparations are purchased from a reputable seller and all the substances are listed in the composition, we can easily check their effect.
It is not worth buying supplements from unverified sources if we are not sure what is inside. Products that are based primarily on stimulants are also not recommended. Such substances may be dangerous due to their highly stimulating effect. In this case, there is a risk of deterioration of well-being and health. Artificially stimulating the nervous system may quickly cause overtraining and, consequently, inhibit further reduction. A good fat burner will not excessively increase cortisol. By choosing products with safe ingredients, we do not have to worry that our well-being will suffer. Therefore, let's avoid at all costs supplements of unknown brands that can be purchased on foreign auction sites. You can read more about the safety of fat burners in our article (link to the article).
Fat burners - how do they work?
The action of such products is directly related to three processes that take place in the human body. The first is thermogenesis. It involves an increase in body temperature, which requires an increase in energy expenditure. Adipose tissue is used for this purpose. In practice, increased oxidation of fatty acids occurs. The second action is lipolysis. This process breaks down fat tissue into glycerol and free fatty acids. Breaking down fat into this form allows it to be used for energy purposes.
How do fat burners work in relation to our appetite? Reducing your appetite is an important element of the reduction process. Some products contain ingredients that improve insulin sensitivity and regulate blood sugar levels. Thanks to this, there are no such large fluctuations in the body, which translates into a reduced risk of hunger attacks. We also recommend other preparations to reduce appetite from Biolab. It is worth mentioning one more effect of fat burners, which is to increase exercise capacity. This happens as a result of the activation of the nervous system. As a result, our mood improves and we are more willing to engage in physical activity and more intense training. As a result, our energy expenditure increases, i.e. we burn more calories.
How does a fat burner with thermogenic properties work?
Thermogenics are the most popular group of products. Some of them will work as a fat burner without exercise, although it should be noted that physical activity will allow us to achieve the best results. By combining thermogenics with exercises, we can count on improving exercise capacity. The reducing potential of such preparations can also be used if we move little on a daily basis. In this case, however, the key is a diet with a negative calorie balance. People who wonder whether fat burners work without exercise must remember that no supplement will do all the work for us. If for various reasons we do not want or cannot engage in training, we need to ensure a caloric deficit and nutritional education.
Thermogenics may be a good solution for people struggling with reduced insulin sensitivity. In such a situation, there is greater storage of fat tissue. The use of fat burners can normalize metabolic processes. The ingredients found in this type of products improve insulin sensitivity, and glucose is used to a greater extent for energy purposes rather than stored as fat tissue. The effects provided by fat burners are also related to increased motivation. They are especially useful in times when we feel discouraged or lack strength.
When is it worth using fat burners?
People who are just starting their adventure with fat burners can start with thermogenics. They do not contain stimulants that increase blood pressure, increase heart rate or cause irritation. Such products support metabolism, thanks to which nutrients from food are better used. At the same time, you can avoid the above-mentioned sugar fluctuations, thus reducing the risk of sudden hunger attacks. It is worth mentioning that thermogenics are not recommended if we have problems with high blood pressure or suffer from circulatory system diseases. People who wonder whether fat burners work should remember that a lot depends on when we use them. To fully utilize the potential of such products, it is best to take them before training.
If we have just started reducing, it is best to focus on implementing the training plan and diet. On days when we feel tired or do not feel like exercising, we can use pre-workout supplements available from Biolab. They increase strength, thanks to which we are able to perform an additional series of exercises. The use of fat burners from the beginning of the reduction is not recommended. During the first months, it is worth allowing the body to use its potential. Thermogenics and other products will be useful in moments of stagnation and when a decline in fitness is noticeable.
Fat burners - when can you notice the first effects?
As already mentioned, fat burners should never be treated as an alternative to training or diet. The best results will be achieved by combining these three elements. It is also extremely important to stick to the doses recommended by the manufacturer. The first results are usually visible after about 2 weeks of regular use. During this time, you should observe your body and check how it reacts to the supplement.
As for the duration of use, it is usually 4-8 weeks. It is then recommended to take a break, as there is a risk that the body will get used to the preparation and will no longer react to it. Of course, there are no strict guidelines regarding the length of the break. However, it is assumed that it should be at least 2 weeks, and preferably a month. When choosing a fat burner, it is also worth taking into account your training time. If we usually exercise in the evenings, it is better to choose a product that does not contain stimulants (e.g. caffeine), as there is a risk that we will have trouble falling asleep.
