Peptide serums - a combination of high effectiveness and lightweight formula
There is no doubt that moisturized and properly toned skin looks better. Unfortunately, over the years it loses its properties, resulting in wrinkles, furrows or discoloration on its surface. Decreasing collagen production and oxidative stress are mainly responsible for this state of affairs.
Is it possible to prevent this effectively, yet gently? It turns out that yes, and the answer to the above ills may be a serum with peptides.
Peptide serum vs. cream. What are the differences between the two preparations?
Although some people think that cream and serum are two names for the same cosmetic, this is not true. So, what are the differences between these two preparations?
- power of action - serums work much more intensively than cream due to the higher concentration of active ingredients (however, this does not change the fact that a soothing serum, rich in the right peptides, can successfully calm the skin).
- constituency - cream is characterized by a thick consistency, while serums are lighter, with a gel or even watery consistency.
- application - the simplest way to put it: cream is the basic cosmetic and base of daily care, while serum is its enhancement. That's why it's a good idea to match the two products appropriately, instead of choosing just one of them.
Peptide serums - how to apply?
As long as your skin is not prone to clogging, apply the serum to cleansed skin, and only apply the cream over it. Also keep in mind that serums - due to their intensive effect - are better to use periodically and take a short break every now and then. It can also not be combined with acids.
How does a peptide serum work?
The range of action of a peptide serum will always depend on the specific peptides used in its preparation. In the case of Biolab products, these are copper peptides, or GHK-Cu, administered in serum form.
Why this particular peptide? We decided on it mainly because of its very broad action (there are also hair serums containing copper peptides, and even nail serums rich in these peptides!), which goes beyond standard anti-aging or rejuvenating treatments. This is because copper peptides:
- make the skin more elastic, affecting its healthy appearance and less tendency to form new facial wrinkles, as well as shallowing the existing ones,
- by improving the granulation process, have an anti-inflammatory effect and accelerate wound healing,
- they unify skin tone, making them an ally of people struggling with skin discoloration,
- they are not allergenic, so people with extremely sensitive skin types can also benefit from their properties.
Serum for special tasks from Biolab
Our peptide-saturated face serum Super GHK Copper Serum is as much as 50 ml of an efficient cosmetic. The basis of its composition is an active copper peptide, formulated, incidentally, by its discoverer, i.e. Dr. Loren Pickart. The addition of lipids and antioxidants makes the product not only reduce wrinkles, but also gives the skin smoothness and natural glow.
You can use the serum from Biolab not only for the face, but also on more sensitive areas of the skin, such as around the eyes or on the neck. However, remember to start with a thin test layer in the case of the eye area.
The elegant packaging of our cosmetic also makes it a perfect, sensual gift for someone close to you.
With which cream to combine the serum?
Serum from Biolab store you can successfully combine, for example. You can successfully combine the serum from Biolab with Perfect Lift cream, dedicated to the skin of the neck and décolletage area.
If the gel formula is not your favorite, you can also - instead of the serum - reach for one of our creams, which also contain a high concentration of copper peptide. In this case, check out the GHK-Cu Crepey Skin Escape (a handmade, thick cream) or the 3% GHK Vip Luxury Cream with triple the original peptide content.
