Enzyme power for optimal digestion
Bromelain and papain are digestive enzymes - proteases of plant origin. They are perfectly tolerated by the body. papain and bromelain are enzymes found in certain foods that act in a similar way to pepsin. These enzymes aid digestion by helping the body break down proteins into smaller, more easily digested molecules and amino acids.

The primary action of the enzyme papain is to digest proteins and break them down into amino acids and peptides that can be absorbed in the intestines. Papain also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It can inhibit the proliferation of many microorganisms, including Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Schigella and Candida. Papain is excellent at promoting wound healing and reducing post-workout muscle soreness. Papain exerts anti-obesity effects in mice fed an HFD diet by up-regulating adipogenic factors involved in lipid metabolism and inflammation - it may therefore be useful in the prevention and treatment of obesity.
Bromelain is a group of enzymes naturally found in pineapples. It has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect and therefore finds use in reducing swelling and blood clots. In addition, it aids proper digestion and can even support weight loss. It can potentiate the effects of anticoagulants - it is effective in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases such as peripheral artery disease, stroke, heart attack and high blood pressure.
FEATURES:
- plant-derived proteolytic enzymes
- support digestion and nutrient absorption
- strong anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects
- protective effect on the liver, heart and thyroid gland, among others
- may facilitate weight loss
- supports lipid metabolism
- reduces feelings of indigestion and overeating
- antithrombotic and anti-atherosclerotic effects
- reduction of swelling
Bromelain inhibits the ability of platelets to clump or aggregate (aggregation). It is a potential drug for dissolving atherosclerotic plaques. Furthermore, it may benefit thyroid health by reducing thyroid inflammation. Bromelain beneficially affects the deregulation of lipid metabolism induced by a high fat diet (HFD) in the liver by modulating multiple metabolic pathways. In one human study, people with obesity and diabetes who were given bromelain capsules ( 500 mg twice daily) together with a diabetes medication lost significantly more weight than those given only the diabetes medication.
The package contains 60 supplement capsules.
Ingredients: Bromelain 2500 GDU 500mg, Papain 6000 USP 200mg, gelatin capsule, rice flour.
Dosage: 1-2 capsules with meals. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
